I had never really liked the style of the original GAIA09 Rainlendar skin; I found it rather visually bloated. I decided then to take the skin and modify it to my tastes, including making the calendar controls take up less space visually. I also took the opportunity to make the tooltips easier to read, as well as to make some changes to the alarm window.
Since I did not touch the clock, I have removed it from the skin; you can still use the original skin's clock if you have it installed by going to Rainlendar's Options > Skins > Advanced >>>, and then adding the clock from the original skin, after applying the modified skin.
Instructions
1. To use the skin, you must first install Rainlendar. If you have Rainlendar installed, skip to step 2, otherwise download it from [link] . After installing it, proceed to step 2. 2. Open the Zip file and simply double-click on the .r2skin file inside. 3. Click OK on the dialog box that appears. 4. Right-click on the Rainlendar icon in the notification area, or on Rainlendar itself, and click Refresh. 5. Go to Rainlendar's Options by right-clicking the icon in the notification area, or on Rainlendar itself, and click Options. Click on Skins, and in the list of skins, click on GAIA09 Mod. 6. Click on OK. 7. Enjoy.

The alarm window shows only when you have set an event or task to remind you with an alarm; the alarm window will pop-up when the alarm for that event or task is triggered.
